Important: If you are running OmniCADD Demo Software do not install these files. You should use a special demo version of the OmniCADD Explorer.

1. Sentinel Drivers (version 7.1309)

OmniCADD Software requires installation of Sentinel Drivers 7.50 or later and 7.1309 for Microsoft Vista.
These drivers are shipped with the OmniCADD CD ROM.  If you install OmniCADD Explorer from our website then you will first need to install the Sentinel Drivers.

Installation instructions

  1. Create Sentinel Drivers Folder on your hard drive.
    We recommend using the following folder for Sentinel Drivers downloads:
    C:\OmniCADD\InstallFromTheWeb\Sentinel.
  2. Download file SentDrivers71309.zip to this folder.
  3. Extract & run SentDrivers71309.exe. Follow installation instructions.

Troubleshooting information and latest Sentinel Drivers are available at the SafeNet, Inc. Sentinel SuperPro Drivers website.  We recommend that you install and run the Sentinel SuperPro Medic utility to diagnose problems associated with Sentinel SuperPro hardware key. This utility can be installed from the link above or the OmniCADD CD ROM.

2. Latest version of OmniCADD Explorer (04/22/2008)

Installation instructions

  1. Check Sentinel Drivers version and install latest Sentinel Drivers (see above) if you need them prior to OmniCADD Explorer install. You can determine Sentinel Drivers version in Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs applet under Sentinel System Driver.  Also, Sentinel SuperPro Medic will report the Sentinel Drivers version.
  2. Call OmniCADD, Inc. at 262-652-2727 or e-mail at info@omnicadd.com to receive the PASSWORD for installing OmniCADD Explorer from the Internet.  Remember this password if you decide to reinstall OmniCADD Explorer from the Internet at a later date.
  3. Click on the link below to start downloading.  Select "Save" file. When download is complete start "omniexpl.exe".
  4. Follow installation instructions.  Program may ask to uninstall the previous version of OmniCADD Explorer first.  After uninstalling old version of OmniCADD Explorer using "Control Panel", "Add/Remove Programs..." applet run "omniexpl.exe" again.
  5. After installing OmniCADD Explorer you can start the "Live Update" and "Install from the Web" commands under the "Tools" menu.
